Refund Policy

At PatentBase, we want every user to have a smooth and valuable experience. If you encounter any issues with your subscription, we aim to make the refund process straightforward and transparent.

Subscription Renewals

Pro plans renew automatically each month unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel your subscription.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds apply only to subscription fees paid directly through the PatentBase platform. Requests must be made within 7 days of the original purchase date and only if service issues cannot be resolved by our support team.

You may request a refund within 7 days of your original purchase date if:

  • You experience a technical or service-related issue that cannot be resolved by our support team, or
  • You were charged in error.

Refunds do not apply to:

  • Auto-renewed subscription periods
  • Promotional or discounted pricing
  • Accounts where the user has cancelled but continued using the service during the current billing period

Processing Time

Once your refund request is received and verified, approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Additional Terms

PatentBase reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

  • Abuse of the refund policy
  • Excessive usage during the trial period
  • Violations of the Terms of Service
