Subscription Plans and Feature Access

PatentBase offers Free and Pro subscription plans. Pro subscribers have unlimited access to AI-powered features including query broadening/narrowing, semantic re-ranking, and claim analysis.

Free plan users have access to basic search features and AI query generation. PatentBase reserves the right to modify features, pricing, and plan offerings at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and published on the pricing page.

Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Subscription plans renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled prior to the next billing date. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time after cancellation.

AI-generated content is provided "as is" for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, patentability analysis, or search certification.

Results generated by AI features (including query refinement, result ranking, and claim analysis) should be reviewed by qualified professionals. PatentBase makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs.

Data Processing and AI Features

When you use AI-powered features, your inputs (search text, patent numbers, or uploaded files) may be temporarily processed via OpenRouter, an AI request routing service that accesses models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI, under strict data-processing agreements.

PatentBase does not store, sell, or use your data for AI model training. All data is processed transiently to generate AI-based results within your active session. Usage logs are maintained for billing purposes and contain only anonymized metadata.

Limitations of Use

By using this website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, your users, and other parties you represent that you will not:

• Modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer any materials and software contained on this website;

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Virginia for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms of Service.
